I gained my acupuncture degree with BSc (First Class with Honours) from the respected College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, where I was trained in two systems: Five Elements Acupuncture which excels most at treating your underlying constitution and Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM). It's the TCM system which qualifies practitioners with a BSc rather than BA degree. Since graduating, I've continued to train in other acupuncture styles - I continue to stay fresh and excited about the scope and potential for acupuncture to help patients.
I delivered acupuncture for the NHS funded pain management services in Shropshire and Telford until May 2018. Unfortunately acupuncture is no longer supported.
Alongside my Licence to Practice, I have an enhanced DBS certificate.
Membership of the British Acupuncture Council includes medical malpractice and public liability insurance up to £5,000,000.
My business premises have been licenced for acupuncture use by Shropshire Environmental Health.
As with most clinical professionals, I regularly attend further training to maintain and supplement my skills, enabling me to extend my expertise in areas such as depression/mental health, pain management, tui na massage and palpation skills.
